Electric vaporizers are compact devices that heat material using controlled temperatures, producing a smoother vapor without combustion. Whether used for dry herb or concentrates, most devices share a similar set of components:
-
Mouthpiece
The part you inhale through—usually removable for cleaning. Can be plastic, metal, or glass depending on the design. -
Chamber (or Oven)
This is where material is loaded. It heats up using conduction or convection, depending on the vaporizer type. -
Heating Element
Located under or around the chamber, this component warms the material at precise temperatures. It's powered by the device’s internal battery. -
Battery
Rechargeable and built-in, the battery powers the entire unit. Many vapes charge via USB-C or magnetic docks. -
Power Button & Controls
Some vaporizers use a single button for power and cycles. Others have full displays and buttons for adjusting temperature and viewing battery life. -
Display (if included)
Higher-end vaporizers may include a small screen showing temperature, timer, and battery percentage. -
Air Path
The internal path vapor travels through before reaching the mouthpiece. In well-designed vapes, it’s isolated from electronics for cleaner flavor. -
Accessories
These might include cleaning tools, filling funnels, replacement screens, or loading caps—each helping improve convenience and upkeep.
